A trick for creating and remembering strong passwords
If you’re like most people your passwords are too weak. Maybe they’re too short, maybe they’re your kids names, maybe you use the same password for every site. Either way you really should have stronger passwords. The hard part is remembering them.
Watching the Net has put up a post on How to Create Strong Passwords… and Remember Them. You use symbols and initials to come up with a strong password that’s relatively easy to remember.
For example…
1. Your 1st born daughter’s initials are JLM
2. She was born in 1987
3. She has a sunny and bright disposition
Potential password: *1stJ87lm
You’ll need to visit the site to fully understand it. It seems like a good idea, but I’m going to stick with Keyring on my Palm.
