The humor on this was just too good not to post about it. I’ve got a spammer that has sent me the following email about 2 dozen times in the past week.

Good day,

My name is different names on each one and I am looking to buy links from good websites as yours (mydomain).
I will be glad if I can have a text link or a text box 120×60 or 125×125 on your site. Please advise what what will be the price for each of these ads, if it is placed:

1. On your homepage only
2. On all site pages

I will be very thankful to you if you take into consideration my requrest.

Aside from the grammar and spelling, which is about on par for spam, the funny part to me is that these spams are all being sent to a website I put up a few years ago and only has 5 pages on it. It gets almost no traffic.

Makes me wonder what they’re trying to con people into with this one though. Sending a dozen copies of the same spam to a webmaster address at an almost unused domain seems like there’s not much the spammer is going to get out of it.

Oh well, if nothing else I’ve gotten a laugh out of it.
