Welcome to ForumsBlogsWikis.com. The plan for FBW is to be your stop for the ever changing world of forums, blogs, wikis, CMS programs; pretty much any software that makes it easier for you to have an interactive website. While there are millions of websites written using static tools I believe that if you are starting a site today it needs to be interactive. Gone are the days when the easiest way to get a website online was to write out the HTML in Notepad and upload it to your server. Now you can install a program on to your webserver and be publishing in a matter of minutes. Heck, I uploaded this site about 20 minutes ago and here I am writing the About page.
My goal is to have information on all types of web software that will make it easier for you to create, and more importantly maintain, your web site.
Why WordPress? Why did I decide on WordPress for this blog? I’m using WordPress for several other blogs and have experience with it. It’s quickly becoming almost the “standard” blogging platform as more an more features are added and more and more users discover how easy it is to use. Besides, the price was right - it’s free.
